Rebekah's music flows naturally as an extension of her
personal testimony. Her well-crafted
lyrics and soaring melodies easily connect her to a
wide range of listeners. Rebekah's
classical training shines through in songs like "Never
Alone", but her writing is reflective of
contemporaries like Nichole Nordeman and Jill Phillips.
Her repertoire reaches even the most
eclectic listener as it spans from stirring, reflective
ballads to danceable Avalon-ish pop tunes.
Rebekah won the grand prize in the God-Song 2004 Songwriting
Contest in February 2004,
for which she was awarded ten free hours of recording
time at Rockville, Marylands
premiere Omega Recording Studios. This prize helped
launch her debut CD,
Evidence of His Love".
Her song "When We Forgive" recently won her
an invitation
to perform in the Gospel Music Association's New Artist
Showcase in Nashville.
Rebekah
is active in the music ministry at her home church and
